Acting President of Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov does not ride in a motorcade.
Yesterday, “1+1” TV channel provided information that Oleksandr Turchynov allegedly rode to the training base of the National Guard of Ukraine in a motorcade of five cars.
In connection with this, we have to inform mass media representatives that this is not consistent with the reality.
The Chairman of the Parliament is escorted by only one vehicle. And what it is more, this was done at the demand of the Department of the State Guard of Ukraine.
Apart form this, Oleksandr Turchynov does not use any cars of the Presidential Administration or the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
We also inform that no streets in the capital were blocked to allow Oleksandr Turchynov’s car go by. The Acting President of Ukraine drives in the usual stream of cars, without flashing beacons, “light bars” or buzzers. Thus, if desired, you can find forty or even fifty cars in his “motorcade”.
